How do I add/invite a user to my projects?
Login to your Zoho Projects account, create a project. Once the project is created, you can add users to manage the project from Users -> Add User.
Can I add all my organization members into my Zoho Projects account, so that I can add any or all the members to my projects whenever I want?
Yes, you can add all your organization members into your Zoho Projects account from Settings -> People View -> Add User. Please note that the users added into your Zoho Projects account will be able to view/access your projects only if they are explicitly added into the projects.
Why the user whom I added into my Zoho Projects account unable to see my projects though he is able to login to my Zoho Projects account?
You would have added the user only into your Zoho Projects account not into the projects. For the users to view and access your projects, please add them into the individual projects explicitly from Users -> Add Users (refer Question 1).
I added two users into my Zoho Projects account, but I see only one user being added not the other one. Why?
All the Zoho users login credentials are maintained in Zoho Accounts i.e., https://accounts.zoho.com/. The users whom you add into your Zoho Projects account can either be:
- Type 1 - Already have an account in some Zoho services (or)
- Type 2 - Don't have an account in any Zoho services
When you add Type 1 users, they will be listed in your Zoho Projects Users list right after adding them. These users will also be able to login and access your Zoho Projects account using their existing Zoho login credentials.
When you add Type 2 users, they will not be listed in your Zoho Projects Users list until they create their accounts in Zoho Accounts using the Registration URL sent to them via a Registration email. This Registration email will be sent to right after you add them into your Zoho Projects account.
My projects' users appear online even when they are not online. Why?
Zoho Projects is one of the Single Sign-On(SSO) enabled Zoho services. All the Zoho users login credentials, authentication, online status, etc., are maintained in Zoho Accounts. Since, the users information are stored centrally in Zoho Accounts, users accessing any of the SSO enabled Zoho services like Writer, Sheet, Mail, Business, etc., will appear as Online in Zoho Projects though they are not online with Zoho Projects.
